Exceptional tonal clarity, power, richness and complexity, in a comfortable, familiar form - all crafted from the most luxurious, traditional guitar timbers.
Hand crafted from all solid wood in our UK workshop -from start to finish by a single luthier - this exceptional Malone Guitars Grand Auditorium guitar features a select bear claw Sitka spruce top, stunning dark rosewood back and sides (believed to be Brazilian, but untested), African mahogany neck and crelicam ebony bridge and fingerboard. A hand cut geometric rosette and headstock inlay, contrasting maple binding front and rear, custom made buffalo bone nut and saddle and Gotoh 510 21:1 tuners round off this beautiful instrument.
All of our GA model guitars feature a wider-than-standard waist and upper bout, meaning enhanced bass, midrange, volume and warmth while retaining an easy to manage form factor. Hand tuned timbers and bracing ensure every guitar we create delivers a genuinely unique, rich and musical playing experience, while the traditional deep gloss French Polished shellac finish - standard on our acoustics - ensures our guitars can breath - and really sing!
Designed with versatility and playability in mind, this guitar has a 25.5" scale length, comfortable modern C neck profile and our 'comfort width' 10" radius fingerboard.
Well suited to picking and chord work, and excelling at fingerpicking, this guitar is a joy to play and is extremely capable across a wide range of genres with its deep, rich tone, excellent note seperation and clarity.
