We love what we do

Based in Billericay, Essex, England, Malone Guitars was born out of a love for the guitar and luthiery which developed while Ian was living and working in Spain more than 20 years ago. 

At Malone Guitars we hand make custom electric and acoustic guitars using the finest materials and parts, largely using hand tools in the traditional fashion.

We also carry out guitar repairs, restoration, servicing and restringing, and complex preservation work (including on instruments which some might call basket cases), with the objective of preserving as much of an instrument's character as possible, while making it stable and playable too.

All our work is carried out with love and care - we know how important guitars can be to people.
